Deanshanger’s commitment to community health and safety takes a significant leap forward, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the local parish council, post office, and secondary school. The village proudly announces the installation of six public defibrillators, with plans to add another at the start of the next financial year.
These life-saving devices, strategically placed to ensure no resident is more than 500 meters away from one, also come equipped with bleed kits for comprehensive emergency care. The initiative highlights the importance of quick access to defibrillation for individuals experiencing cardiac arrest, significantly enhancing survival chances.
