Since 2012 South Northants Community Responders has seen a significant increase in the number of call outs. The scheme has grown in size and with the introduction of the scheme car this has enabled our volunteers to be available to their communities more often.

An article on the BBC on the 6th March 2019 touches on the use of responders which improves call times “community first responders who may be closer to the scene and often know the areas better than ambulance crews”
